Caliman has its head office in the city of Linhares - Espírito Santo. The offices are located at the farm Santa Terezinha, Kilometer 111 of BR 101, 45km from the town of the municipal district, where there are large farms, packing house and administration of the company.
Caliman has a further location in Natal, capital of the state Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. There, Caliman Agricola RN S/A is strategically located to best serve the American and European markets. The new unit of Caliman installed a packing house that uses the most advanced technology of fruit processing in the world. In those sunny and fertile lands of the Brazilian northeast, Caliman Agrícola, believing in the Brazilian labor, has put all its ideas in a partnership with the landless workers of the area. These small family growers, who used to live at the margin of the productive society, in sub-human conditions, have transformed their reality in an incredible success story. Caliman supplies all the necessary knowledge for the production of the Papaya Caliman, aside from offering the necessary physical structure and to guarantee the purchase of the fruits produced by the workers. The first harvest was accomplished in 2000. The once landless families are now small entrepreneurs, who have created an association with the financial support of the Bank of the Northeast for that first crop. With their monthly income, each family can provide adequate education for their children and improve their quality of life step by step.
