Caliman Agrícola was the first to cultivate Papaya in the Espírito Santo State, a place where only coffee was cultivated before. In 1984 we started the exportation to Europe and in 1998 to the American market.

The amount exported by Caliman reaches the impressive number of 12,000 tons per year. We are one of the greatest exporters of Papaya in the whole world; we are responsible for 2/3 of the whole amount exported by Brazil.

We take part into programs that guarantee the use of Good Agricultural Practices, just as HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), EurepGAP, PIF (Integrated Production of Fruits) among others. Our team works to offer you the best Papaya.
