The research and evaluation of new production techniques and standards is a continuous process to the technical staff of Caliman.

Lots of partnerships are firmed, as examples of them we have the studies developed together with institutions as IBAMA (Brazilian Institute of Environment and Natural Renewable Resources) and the IBD (Biodynamic Institute) and Universities as UFV (Federal University of Viçosa) and the UENF (Universidade Estadual do Norte Fluminense).

A project of great prominence is the production of the Organic Papaya. An organic product is produced according to an agriculture method which enforces the development of the cultures in a sustainable basis, without the use of non-reusable resources just as the chemical products.
